This was my fourth Desert Island disc selection. A massive back catalogue to choose from. I was not sure whether to choose something for the message (like “Can’t always get what you want”, or a 60s anthem like “Gimme Shelter”, or a classic ballad like “Wild Horses”, all of which I love, but in the end I decided to go with something of my own era and their answer to punk rock.
